Usha Nadkarni happens to be a known face Marathi- Hindi entertainment industry who happens to be TV actress. She is a 71 year old and was born on 13th September 1946 in Bombay when India was yet to get its independence. She is known with different nicknames including Aau, Usha Tai, etc. She has done her schooling and college from Bombay completing her graduation in humanities. She has been interested in acting since she was a kid but her parents opposed her to join. She even bagged several awards in a year in this category and once her parents realized about her talent, she allowed her to work as an actor.
Talking about her personal life, she comes from a Brahmin family while her mother was into teaching profession. She then got married to her longtime friend and boyfriend Anand Nadkarni who worked in an IT company and she happened to be a mother of a son whom the couple named her as Ayush. She then entered into the acting world and has been ruling hearts of millions first on the silver screen and then on the TV shows appearing in the Zee TV shows like ‘Pavitra Rishta’ in which she played the character called ‘Savita Damodar Deshmukh’.
Now she is all set to enter being a contestant in the Marathi house of ‘Bigg Boss Marathi’ and it will be certainly going to be a fun watching her inside the said reality show. Now talking about her career start. She started with the play called Guru to step into the world of acting and then got the chance to work in a famous play called Purus. In the year 1979, she was seen starting up doing her work in the films for the debut film called Sinshasan, which was a M Town film. In the year 1993, she got the chance to make her debut in the Bollywood with the film called ‘Shatranj’. Some of her films include ‘Maherchi Sadi’ (Marathi), ‘Vaastav’ (Hindi), ‘Gundaraj’ (Hindi), Krishna Cottage’ (Hindi), ‘Rustom’ (Hindi), and ‘Sakhi’ (Marathi) to name a few. In nutshell, she has been a known face in M Town and B Town.
