Gautam Joglekar is an Indian actor, writer and director primarily active in Marathi cinema and small screen. He was born in Pune and brought up in his place. He did his schooling and college from the same place. He is active both in Marathi and Hindi cinema and he went on to shift to Mumbai to make his career in acting. He was also active in theatres and he did a couple of plays before he headed to Mumbai to enter into the mainstream medium. He started his career working as a director for the Nana Patekar film called Prahaar.
Madhuri Dixit had worked in this film as well. He then got the chance to direct the M Town film called Pak Pak Pakaak in 2005. He then got the chance to direct another film Jai Jai Maharashtra Maza having Mahesh Manjrekar and Mrunal Kulkarni in the lead roles in the year 2012. He also acted in Marathi TV shows in daily soaps called Assa Sasar Surekh Bai and Radha Prem Rangi Rangili, which were aired on the popular TV channel called Colors Marathi.
Talking about his personal life, he is married and has a son. While he comes from a reputed family and happens to be the son of Sai Paranjpye who happens to be the award-winning director of films, while his mother too was associated with theatre. His sister Winnie also happens to be active in Hindi film and also did a couple of Marathi TV shows.
