The decision to ban the 500 and 1000 rupee notes seems to have fallen like a crackdown on the average movie goers. Considering the same, the makers of the film have decided to push the release of the Marathi movie called Fugay. Though we have a mixed reaction from the people about the decision but taking a larger picture things are grim as people are now saving their change currency notes and busy in standing in the queues of Bank and ATMs.
The film was supposed to hit the theatres on 2nd of December but considering this chaos, the makers have made the release on hold and are yet to announce the fresh dates. The film is produced by Ashin Anchan and Anuradha Joshi under the banner of Maay Productions in association with GSEAMS and their owners Arjun Singh Baran & Kartik Nishandar. The makers will discuss the matter soon and embark with the fresh release date before the Marathi audience.
