Film “Copy” being shot in Kasu village
Marathi cinema , has time and again, come up with relevant subjects from education to child trafficking. Now , Copy, a new film in it’s production stage will be exposing the subject of hypocrisy in education system.Upcoming film Copy is being shot in realistic locations of the rural Maharashtra to imbibe the soul of rural characters. Dealing with the loopholes in education system and it’s effect on the underprivileged group, the film has accomplished actors trying different roles in this movie.
Copy is being directed by Hemant Dhabhade & Dayasagar Wankhede and is produced by Ganesh Ramchandra Patil. The film is presently being shot in the rural background of Kasu village in Maharashtra. The village with it’s quintessential rustic flavours form an ideal setting for the story of the film. The story tries to expose the unjust and corrupt practices in the education system which has the poor children bearing it’s brunt. Anshuman Vichare whom we have seen as a comedian in many Marathi movies will be essaying the role of a strict school teacher in the movie. While another accomplished actor Jagannath Nivangune will be playing another school teacher.
Jagannath was earlier seen in the role of a police inspector in the serial Lakshya.
The star cast of the film includes Kamlesh Sawant, Milind Shinde, Vipul Salunkhe, Anil Nagarkar, Rahul Belapurkar, Ashutosh Wadkar, Poonam Rane, Saurabh Surtar, Pravin Kapde, Ravi Virkar, Shraddha Sawant.
