Akshay Mudawadkar is an actor mostly seen in Marathi TV shows and films. He hails from Nashik where he was born and brought up at. He did his schooling and college in Nashik and later headed to Mumbai to make his career in acting. He has been always active in cultural activities doing plays and stage shows that made him choose this path. He headed to Mumbai but was not lucky to get the break that made him enter the field of modeling.
He remained the part of many ramp shows and fashion shows apart from being involved in a number of ramp walks and other things. He then got a chance to work in a TV show called Jai Jai Swami Samarth getting a leading role in it. The role seemed challenging but he accomplished it in a skillful way and was able to make his mark for the audience. He was given the role only because the makers had good reviews about his acting skills as showcased in a short film called A Piece of Paper.
Talking about his next venture, he is the part of Colors Marathi show called Bayko Ashi Havvi with Vikas Patil and Gauri Deshpande. Talking about his personal life, he is married to his Nashik based friend Neha Hawaldar who is now Neha Mudawadkar. He is also active in theatres and has done plays including Swarajya Janani Jijamata , and Gandhi Hatya Aanimi which seemed to have been highly appreciated by the audience.
