She had shot to fame with the reality show Rahul Dulhaniya Le Jayega. The actress who hails from Pune has done many modeling assignments from Loreal to Garden Saris. Girish Vasaikar was looking for a fresh face for his film which is a love story. Mrinmayi has a beautiful screen presence and an expressive face. Both these qualities landed her the role.
In the film Miss Match, Mrinmayi essays the role of a daughter of a business tycoon who is in search of true love. Mrinmayi is cast opposite Bhushan Pradhan who is also a new comer in the industry. The director, Vasaikar, has brought the two fresh faces together in order to make the characters appear even more real for this interesting love story.
As the title suggests, the story is definitely not a love story of the perfect boy meeting the perfect girl. It is one of a miss matched couple. With few other love stories releasing in the coming few weeks, it will be interesting to see how Mrinmayi and Bhushan’s love story stands out. Though Mrinmayi has acted few serials before this, this is her first role as a lead. Recently the actress said that she is content with the way the film has finally turned out.
