Veteran actor Vijay Chavan is no more, he was 63
It is a sad day for the M Town as its veteran actor called Vijay Chavan has passed away. The actor was 63 year old and was seen combating a prolonged lung disease. While suffering from the lung fever, he was admitted at the known hospital Fortis at Mulund in Mumbai once his conditions went down on Thursday. But his fight against the menace did not last long and he had to leave this world. He was more known for his comical characters in the M Town and is often remembered for his performance in several of his films. His play Moru Chi Mavshi is among the famous one and he is still remembered for his show.
As per reports, the actor had worked in around 400 different Marathi movies of different niche areas while comedy movies have been his specialty, which allowed his fans and M Town audience to enjoy the films. For his performances, he was also awarded a number of prestigious awards and recognition. He was an established actor in M Town and no one can be his substitute especially when he is a man of such an ace skill sets and experience. His absence in the industry, will certainly going to create a perfect role in the film.
Indeed we all miss the actor for his power packed performances in different movies while his characters of humor and comedy have been fabulous thanks to his skill sets. This has helped the film to do better over the box office as well. Some of his comical roles that are remembered include the films like ‘Jatra’, ‘Pachadlele’, ‘Zapatlela’, ‘Mumbaicha Dabewala’, and ‘Shrimanta Damodar Panta’ among the others. His funeral is expected by today evening or max by tomorrow morning as there is yet to get any official confirmation about the same. He has left behind his relatives, friends and many fans behind and we wish condolence to this great loss in M Town industry. May his soul rest in peace.
